Regarding Iran’s abundant commercial capacity and opportunities of investment, Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi on Monday invited Chilean private sector to attend the country’s trade market.
In a meeting with Political Advisor to the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ricardo Lagos, Takht-Ravanchi said expanding relations with Chile and Latin American states is among Iran’s top priorities.
Pointing to Iran’s geographic status in west of Asia and to its potentials in road and railway infrastructure, Takht-Ravanchi said development of ties with Iran would pave the way for Chilean traders to be present in the Central Asian and Caucasus regions.
“Scientific, technical, academic and cultural cooperation is among other suitable grounds for mutual ties’ expansion,” Takht-Ravanchi highlighted.
Ricardo Lagos, who heads a delegation, including Chilean ambassador to New York, is in Iran to hold meetings with senior Iranian officials.
